stephen-walshStephen Walsh founded Walsh Integrated in 1992 with a single focus that has not changed in three decades: give the people who keep hospitals clean and compliant the tools they need to be efficient and effective.

What began with barcode scanners in the 90s has grown into a suite of integrated apps – covering cleaning inspections, ATP testing, fluorescent marking verification, EOC rounds, hand-hygiene compliance, linen quality, pest management, patient satisfaction, and more.

Stephen has spent 30+ years embedded in the day-to-day realities of healthcare Environmental Services. He has partnered with hundreds of facilities, working with

Quality control, infection-prevention, and EVS.

Walsh Integrated has worked with the country’s leading institutions, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, UC Davis Health, University of Washington Medical Center, Hebrew SeniorLife, UCLA Health, and Baptist Health South Florida, to name a few. Walsh is also the leading provider of QA technology to the Department of Veterans Affairs and to the US Army.

Mr. Walsh writes and speaks on the topics he has lived: passing Joint Commission and DNV surveys, building defensible EOC documentation, using ATP and fluorescent-marking data to drive real cleaning improvement, and improving HCAHPS scores through improved EVS practices.

His perspective is grounded in real life implementations across hundreds of facilities, not simply theory.

Areas of expertise: Hospital inspection software, Environmental Services quality management, Joint Commission EOC compliance, VA/MEDCOM operations, ATP and hygiene monitoring, fluorescent marking verification, HCAHPS improvement, infection prevention technology.
